Meet Courtney! She has had a tough life and is looking for her “happily ever after.” She is a golden retriever around ten years old and has lived her life as an outside dog. When she came to us, she was missing large portions of her hair and had a nasty case of whipworms. She has made huge strides and is learning so much about how to be part of a family. She is a very sweet older gal that is loving all of the attention that being part of a family includes. She loves to relax around the house and take naps. She is good with other dogs so long as they don’t interfere with the relaxation! With her history, she is new to the potty training game. She is picking up on it quickly and will continue to progress with more experience. Due to her age, she isn’t able to hold it as long as the young kids, so a schedule is key.
