“My mother lost her dog one year ago Christmas. She loved her dog and missed her little happy face to come home too. I had been trying to get her to get a dog for probably about 6 months. She refused. She wanted a lapdog like she had before that was low maintenance/potty trained. I thought that would be hard to find. However, I just happened upon the Yukon Petsmart rescue and called mom about Vanna. We sent her pictures and she finally AGREED! It was rough at first getting used to each other and my Dad. But finally, mom seems so happy and loves having Vanna tag along everywhere. They sleep together and Vanna is so attached to Mom. What a blessing!”
