I had always said adopting a shelter pet was on my bucket list. I wanted to care and love an animal that has never had it. Never did I think it would come in the form of a feline…but the moment I seen Skunk (now named Pistol…go Pokes) we connected! He is so sweet, attentive, and very playful! It was said he was good with dogs (proud owner of a basset hound) as well as kiddos (first time mother to a 3 month old). I’m a person who is more of a dog’s rule person but Pistol is really to the exception. Brought him home and both him and my Annie Oakley connected right away!! I’m so glad that I can provide a loving home to an animal that never had one. He is truly a member of our family and I can’t wait to see his life be so joyful…after all that’s what pets deserve!
